I have a question for everyone since I am almost 3 months on T and still deathly afraid of using the men's room both at work and in public. First of all, I'm having a hard time making my STPs work with me. Second, I generally feel like I don't pass well enough to embark into new territory. Third, I need advice on how I can boost my confidence and conquer my fear of just strolling in and doing my business in the Men's. Also, I have a YouTube channel for anyone interested in seeing why I feel like I don't pass, if you want to check that out and let me know what I should do.

Thanks, all!

For me it was a matter of just getting over the fear and doing it. I'd strongly encourage you to use a stall if you're struggling with the STP. I personally don't use one, but I use the men's room. I've never had an issue. Some guys are just stall guys.

I didn't watch any of your videos, but I did look at your channel. When you're going into a restroom you're generally not talking or looking at anyone. Just keep your head down and do your thing. I don't see anything about you that stands out or reads as female to me.

yeah, like Max said it's totally fine to use a stall if your STP isn't cooperating with you. I'm still not using the men's room, but when I use a public bathroom I often go for the gender-neutral one if that's available - if you're not feeling totally ready to use the guys' room, you could see if there's any gender-neutral ones.

I think that physically you totally pass. the main thing I noticed from your youtube channel that I think could make passing more difficult is your voice - it could pass, but that's the one thing that, if I didn't know you, would make me a bit confused of your gender. of course that's not to say that it would hinder your passing completely, that's just my one piece of advice for passing more. (plus, nobody really converses in bathrooms haha)

if you think that you're ready to start using the men's room, then you could/should go for it!

Thanks for the support, guys. I guess I just feel awkward because when I started at my job everyone knew me as female and I'm still getting misgendered even by the people I have asked nicely to refer to me as male. They're just rude. I'm sure my voice will drop more (since I'm just getting started on T) but I think I'll give it a shot and see how I feel about it, whether the guys at work like it or not!  ;D

Got one guy that is a good buddy? Might just take him going in with you the first time to give you that boost.

Practice in the shower at home, then you don't have to worry about spillage

You don't have to use the urinal or even stand to be able to use the men's restroom. It is acceptable for a guy to sit to pee and most people will not take notice.
