Hello! I am a MTF transgender, have been as far back as I can remember. I recently separated honorably from the military and have kept it a secret my whole life. I recently told my girlfriend about it, and she is totally supportive and very curious about my feelings. She wonders why I have never told anyone, and I get the feeling that she thinks I should talk to someone, so I found this forum searching around online. I am excited to get to know others who share similar feelings like I do and am curious to learn a little about everyone's journey and share my experiences as well!
Being transgender does not give anyone a free pass or a hand out... we just want a fair shake and an opportunity as any AMERICAN and that is the freedom and LIBERTY that I fought for and defended.

There is a ton of information and first hand experiences from some of the finest people I know. So glad to have you with us. Relax, pull up a chair and get busy!! :)

Welcome Robyn.

If only the USA Armed Services knew how many transwomen serve they would change their attitude!

Welcome Robyn.

While I served.. very few people had a problem with our community. It just takes a long time to change the regulations. Plus the issues that would come from an infantry/frontline soldier coming out... just makes a mess.
