DiMaggio and hotels.

Hi everyone. I'm trying to figure out just how much it'll cost me to get FFS with DiMaggio. I know his standard full package rate is $18,000. His website says this includes a hotel.

My question is this: is the hotel provided for a stay of the full ~23 days you're there, or just during initial recovery?

Only the night in the hospital is included. For the remaining time the recommended method is an apartment that rents out for a month for around 1000$. The place I had surgery was changed such that it increased the package cost. As this was a new change that happened recently I paid a portion of the increase. In total I have paid around 21500$ for the entire trip to include flight, apartment,  and food.

Hi Aphaea, thanks for the reply. If you don't mind my asking, which place did you have surgery with that increased the package cost? What was the new cost? What was the old cost?

Basically, I'm trying to find out if DiMaggio raised his prices. It took me so long to save money and I've gotten by on noodles, protein powder, and vitamins to do it. I really hope he hasn't changed from the default $18,000.

I cannot say definitively if he has raised his prices. I did have to pay more than originally quoted which certainly caught me by surprise. The surgical center was changed a month ago. Due to the sudden change I did not pay the full price difference. He may have updated his pricing to reflect that or changed surgery centers. It would be best to contact him. He is the only person that can give an exact response and is quick to reply.
