I know that in xy men, as they get older the level of testosterone drops. Lately, I feel resentment at the fact that someone else is controlling how much testosterone I should get. In this state, I used to have to be seen once a year for levels. Now, I'm supposed to get a full CBC Chem and test. level. If its at all high, they drop it. I can feel the difference, and I'd rather have it slightly high than too low. The medical group here (they pretty much have medicine monopolized in this area, would rather have it too low than a bit too high.

I know it can cause problems. I was told that from day one when I first started HRT. Cancer, high enzymes etc. But it should be my choice. How would a physician feel if he had his testosterone level checked, it was too high so they removed a testicle. That is what it feels like. Being castrated. Am I being too sensitive on this issue? Its not like I'm going to sue if its a little too high and I develop a problem. I just wish I had a choice.
