Possible binder issues

Call me Ray

I've been starting to have a lot of nagging shoulder aches and pain as well as issues with one of my collarbones getting out of place. I am wondering if it may be from my binder since it doesn't seem to happen as much on days when I'm not binding as much (laundry day, etc.). This seems to be a fairly new occurrence just within the last few weeks but it does seem to be getting progressively worse. I'm using an Underworks 997.

Have any of you had issues with this type of thing?

Sounds like a binder problem alright, Can you wear less time during the day?

Definitely sounds like the binder, to me!  Started happening to me, as well... had to shop around to find the right binder for me.  Underworks have never worked for me.  The one I got from LesLoveBoat.com is treating me much better, and the shoulder issues are resolving!

I can try to wear it less some days. Right now about half the days I only wear it when I'm at work but sometimes that can be quite a while with my commute and everything. I already don't wear it to the gym because I can't afford to injure myself and breathing is important.

EDIT: Wow, apparently I'm more tired than I thought since I quoted the wrong post. I'll check out LesLoveBoat.com, thanks for the suggestion!

Loveboat costs more, but if you are able to pay for them, I do feel like at least some of the models are significantly more comfortable. I worse mine in 10-14 hour days without discomfort or pain (not mostly but it was doable). I wore AirMax pullovers. The sizing is a problem, imo.

I actually liked the velcro loveboat binder I got.  Being adjustable is worth while I think.

Personally didn't like because I could feel the edge of it, but they do get good reviews. The AirMax comes in the velcro style and also zipper. I think it's a good model, another one with good reviews are the Jersey sport style.

I had zero issues with shoulders, pain in the chest, pressure, etc. I sort of "under bound". Didn't look bad though.
