Illuminess

This supposed "spiritual" Facebook page has posted a negative commentary on gender transition (with Bruce Jenner at the center of it). They also posted a video by one of my favorite speakers, Mark Passio, as if it was defending their opinion. They seriously have no idea what Passio's message is. The video is called "New Age Bull->-bleeped-<- and the Suppression of the Sacred Masculine" and not once did he ever talk about trans identity. I told them that posting a link to the video was no different than Christians quoting Leviticus as if to defend their stance on homosexuality. I posted a couple of quotes, too, and they deleted all of it!! Go give em your own two cents!!

I've consulted God and He affirms me.

Now what?  :)

If God made me, then it was God's will that I be on transgender. He sent me on this journey.

The Christian God is not cruel. He would never create transgender people who had an inborn need to transition and then forbid them to transition under His law. It surprises me that people who consider themselves Christian would imagine their compassionate God would do such a thing.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

This is my position too. I just cannot understand someone's position that I am a sinner because of a physical birth condition that I had no control over. And in the big 10 list I don't remember a "Thou shalt not be transgender" commandment, but I do remember other commandments that church members commonly break and they receive no condemnation from the pulpit whatsoever. The church needs to examine itself before condemning us, something about removing a log from an eye, and a twig  ;)

I looked over more of their posts. Whoever is running that page is disgusting. They criticise homosexuality and transgender identity purporting that God doesn't make mistakes, then turns around and say how much they embrace all people.

This delusion that humans are perfect creations needs to be smashed. The human being is susceptible to thousands of genetic anomalies from developmental conditions, biological mutations and psychological diseases. We are FAR from perfect.

How we end up coming into the world has no relevance to "sin". Some people are born with the predisposition for same sex attraction; some are born with the body of one gender and the brain of another; some are born as Primary Psychopaths; some are born with various levels of autism; and on and on it goes.

It's how we choose to live our lives that matters, not the fact that we exist at all. The people behind this page should probably EVOLVE themselves before making a fest out of the idea. They should be ashamed.

First off, let me say, that 'un-natural', is not a correct term in this case. If something is un-natural, then it does not occur in nature. Transgender is something that exists, and happens, thus, it is fully natural, as it occurs in nature. (In this, Nature is Existence, by definition.)

I'd also like to point out, if the Creator makes everyone perfect, what about miscarriages, and the countless birth defects?

Or are birth defects an propaganda used by all Atheists to attempt to disprove God? (Now in my own belief, God cannot be proven nor disprove, but this is not a discussion to get into, that is just me.)

The Christian God has given Man (And woman) free-will. As such, even in the minds of a radical, they shouldn't have anything against transgender. As they consider, Transgender is a choice by their belief, so as long as being transgender doesn't harm everyone around us, there's no sin involved. We made out own choice using the gift God had given, Freewill.
Who am I? No one you need to concern yourself over.
