I used to have quite muscular pecs, and since my breasts have been growing on HRT, they are still quite firm. I have grown about an inch my bust and they have grown much wider. Been about 6months.

About how long approx. do boobs start to get more floppy and bouncy and things like that.

Mine are still very firm. They look fantastic though, Oh My!!!

Thank you...

I can't say I know the answer, but I can say that after 15 months mine are still very much firm.

My understanding is when women have a strong pectoral muscle under the breast, then the breast has less tendency to sag. Bras tend to take the load off of the pecs so that they are no longer able to carry the weight of the breast like they used to causing more sag.

This is what I gather anyways.

So if I start to wear a bra more often, then my breasts should stay more firm and tend not to sag as fast?
What about sports bras?

Boy, talk about counter intuitive!

"Wearing a bra does more harm than good - it does nothing to reduce back pain and weakens the muscles that hold up the breasts, resulting in greater breast sagging, Jean-Denis Rouillon, a sports science expert from the University of Besançon, France, reported after a 15-year study.

Rouillon says that the main conclusion from the preliminary results of his "marathon experiment" is that the bra is a false necessity.

In an interview with France Info (radio), Professor Rouillon said:

"Medically, physiologically, anatomically - breasts gain no benefit from being denied gravity. On the contrary, they get saggier with a bra."

Prof. Rouillon used a slide rule and a caliper (a device used to measure the distance between two opposite sides of an object) to carefully measure changes in breast features of hundreds of women over a 15-year period at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire, Besançon.

All his volunteers were between 18 and 35 years old. Rouillon emphasized that although his study spanned many years and included hundreds of women, he in no way claims his sample population is representative of the global population of women.

Rouillon found that women who never wore bras had nipples on average seven millimeters higher in relation to their shoulders each year than regular bra users.

In an interview with France Info, a 28-year old female called Capucine says she swears by Rouillon's findings."

In Jr high School they used the pencil test.  If a pencil placed under the breast stayed there from breast pressure, you needed a bra.  Girls at my school all developed at different rates and times.  So do we.

Not wearing a bra will keep them more firm.

It's the fat inside the breast that will make them soft and bouncy. Breasts are 99% fat plus glands.

Mine are mostly glands, but the amount of fat is slowly starting to rise.

Mine were flopping by the age of 18 because they were too ->-bleeped-<-ing big. Size matters. In puberty I didn't wear a bra for the first two years because I didn't want to acknowledge I had boobs. Within five years of wearing a bra I was flopping even though I still had the supple skin of a teenager.

I have no research but I think probably your best bet is to wear a bra when doing bouncy activities and go braless the rest of the time. YMMV.

Mine started bouncing while on stairs after about 1 year...however everyone has different rates of breast growth, from zero after years, or C's in under a year.

But yeah, it's a great feeling. Makes me want more than what I have (B+)... :)
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

FTM here weighing in.  My breasts were home grown, so I'm not 100% sure about implants.  However, bras make no difference on saggage.  This is a myth.  They definitely support and help comfort, but they'll do you no long term miracles. White Rabbit and Ms Grace are spot on.  Ever seen female body builders?  Their tits are just clinging on center chest, refusing to move.  Then you have lean women who have (on average) much smaller breasts.

If you are on HRT, a more female redistribution of body fat will help with time.  Other than that, try to give your pecs a rest.  If you still want to keep in shape, look at exercises specifically for women.  Pilates helps keep flexible, lean tone.

Mine started to bounce after a year or two after I started with E. I went off and on it my first 2 years so I can't really pinpoint when big changes took place. But I noticed the bouncing when I went downstairs. I'm going to get implants sooner or later, so no sagging for me!  ;D
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III
