Are all pills created equal? I don't think so.

All hormone pills are not created equal? I was told no they aren't.

Well I didn't really believe it but I switched from the generic (teva) estradiol from the pharmacy to estrofem which I had bought but never used. I have a prescription so I'm not self medding. Same dose and I'm monitored.

Well I feel different with this one. Within a couple days breasts begin to hurt again. They hurt a little before but now they hurt more. So I'm going to ask my dr next visit what I should do. I'm hoping to ask for injections instead because taking pills is such a pain in the rear. Yeah, I know injections will be too, but literally. :)

Also of concern to me is my esterone levels are pretty high with pills. I don't like that.

Maybe not quite the same as you as one is a hemihydrate and the other is a valerate, but I certainly felt there was more potency from Estrofem over Progynova when I used to take pills.
Nobody's perfect ...   I'll never try,
But I promise I'm worth it, if you just open up your eyes,
I don't need a second chance, I need a friend,
Someone who's gonna stand by me right there till the end,
If you want the best of my heart, you've just gotta see the good in me.

Interesting. When I was in the hospital recovering from gall bladder surgery, I felt the hormones they gave me there were more potent..
