Bennett also serves as Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's national steering committee chairman for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender issues. Bennett said he wants to help victims of police brutality and help those facing issues in the realms of employment, legal help, diversity and sexual orientation.
