I agree with this. In the initial phase of questioning my gender identity, I too thought I was just a cis person who had somehow managed to trick myself into believing that I am trans. But then, gender identity is something one can only define for themselves. Others can help you along or caution you or whatever, but in the end, the decision is one's own.
