Hai der.
Today, after waiting since October last year, I finally acquired hormones from my Endocrinologist. Basically I'm a woman, in a male body. (I don't like saying Male-To-Female, cause' I was never even male in the first place)

I live in Uruguay, and I hope I wrote this correctly. They handed me valerato de estradiol (estradiol valerate) and acetato de progesterona (progestrone acetate). I am to take estradiol and progesterone acetate until I meet my endocrinologist again on May the 10th. I forgot to ask her why she didn't give me an androgen blocker or anti-androgen such as spironolactone, perhaps its because I live in Uruguay?

Nevertheless I am nervous because I read online that if I take estrogen without a blocker it converts to
testosterone. No-no. Tomorrow, I'm going to call my endocrinologist with this doubt, I hope she remembers I am
'MTF'. Is this normal, did anyone ever get this? I'll post the content of the medicine in an hour or two, and see if all is right.
I thank you!
