I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with taking Ibogaine to detox. Its illegal here, so it has to be done in Mexico, Canada or areas of Europe.

Years ago, I developed daily, debilitating migraines. I finally found a great Dr. in a pain management clinic, and we tried all the migraine drugs as well as medications that are meant for something else but whose side effect was that the people taking it had less migraines. Finally, we had no choice but to go to opioids. Right now I'm on methadone, dilaudid, meperidine, phenergan and clonazepam. (We started with just methadone, but as tolerance grew, so did doses and the need to add on other meds). By the grace of God, I never became addicted, just psychiologically dependent and tolerant. During last summer, I had a really bad fall, possible broken hip, and not even injectable dilaudid touched it. I knew I had to get rid of the meds. If I ever got cancer or was in an accident, no analgesics would work.

I've been looking around for info on Ibogaine and Ibogaine clinics to detox. For anyone who isn't familiar with it, Ibogaine detoxes in about 36 hours with little to no withdrawl symptoms. I finally found a clinic in Cancun Mexico with a good reputation, 24-7 Dr.s, pre-treatment bloodwork etc.

Ibogaine usually causes visions, waking dreams that are very intense and described as relentless, forced psychotherapy. I'd like to know if anyone has tried it an what it was like. Even if I have to go back on opiods for my pain, the Ibogaine will have lowered my tolerance to what it was before I started taking opioids.
You can learn a lot online about something, but first hand accounts are helpful in preparing for the experience. (That is how I feel anyway).

Thanks in advance. I know that subjects like this can be touchy.
