Hey guys,

I've been checking the pics in the badass and passing threads and I'm noticing something I've not seen covered elsewhere (or just haven't found it). I see that the guys on T seem to have much thicker better shaped eyebrows. In some of the 'before' comparison pics it seems like most had pretty good shape and some thickness before T. I'm wondering what you have noticed when getting more body hair/face changes; does it seem to add to/change your eyebrows?

I have rather thin brows and it's worse when I'm in the sun a lot, my brows bleach and get really light, practically disappearing. This seems more noticeable to me as I have dark brown hair. Did anyone do anything special, like apply T cream or anything to them to encourage growth?

The heavier, darker, brows seem to really enhance the masculine look.

with my experience, t typically fills in the places where you have hair. pre-t i was already really hairy, but the spots on my legs that weren't as covered now are. my eyebrows were already really thick/dark so i can't notice much without comparison, but i did have a friend whose eyebrows changed. he has light brown hair and they started to become noticeably darker. you do not have to apply t directly on the area to get growth.

this is just my experience/observation. it varies from guy to guy

Maybe you could learn how to slightly thicken them with eyebrow pencil?  Like a very thin line on either side of each brow (just a guess)?  Or at least in the summer, you can just do a light scrapping of pencil directly on them so they are less light?  I have no idea, but I bet you could google/youtube thickening eyebrows (makeup).  I understand that thick eyebrows are trendy right now with women, so there is probably information out there.

Putting T directly on any part of your body will not cause hair growth (nor will putting it on your penis make it grow more).  I have heard guys talk about minoxidil on their beard, but the additional variable is longer time on T, which can't be separated out. You do hear FTMs say that their eyebrows thicken when on T.

Mine have thickened a bit, and they have a few of those long, gnarly hairs, which I really like. (The barber now asks me if I want them trimmed -- not on your life! ) I'm still hoping the ends will fill in -- they've thinned a bit over the past decade or so.

I'd love to end up with my father's eyebrows -- they were a lot like Sean's, over there.

Yeah, I think it would be great if what I had thickened and darkened.

When I was a teen I was compelled to do some things about my appearance which have left me very adverse about any temporary cosmetics. I might be willing to try something like a little pencil in the summer just so I don't look like a no-brow alien!

When I go to the barber the older guys come in and they always get asked "Eyes, ears, nose?" It's fun to watch that, along with the reactions to me getting a shorter cut than theirs.  ;D

My eyebrows were practically white before T and when I started T they got a lot thicker/darker very quickly. It actually looks like I have eyebrows now. Also one of my friends had really light eyebrows, he used to fill them in because he felt it was so feminine, but after being on T people have told him he has A really nice eyebrow game.

Hey thanks. I was really wanting to hear this. There is hope for the browless!  ;D

I've always had extremely thick, dark eyebrows (thanks Italian genetics) - on T they don't seem too much different, but I think for some guys who have lighter eyebrows prior to T, the hair tends to thicken/darken.

My barber hasn't offered to trim my ears and nose yet...

Atypical

I started with thin, almost white brows and now they're much thicker. I'm naturally light blond and my hair overall has darkened quite a lot since T.

I have a great old school barber! I also get a hot shave on the back of my neck every time when he blocks it. A very nice finishing touch. ;D Maybe another right of passage is having another man clip your nose hairs...

My older sister has offered to tutor me in the ways of manly-eyebrow-makeup. Once I take her up on the offer, depending on the level of success, I may invest some time into putting up a video of the technique?

I think it's one I just might pass on.

Even having him do the eyebrows once was a bit weird, although I did think of it as a rite of passage.

Just gonna barge in here and say I would love that.
I've never been a huge fan of makeup, but I've seen a couple videos here and there from cosplayers that have really opened my eyes to some fantastic makeup tricks. But I have yet to see a good video on eyebrows, and I seriously have more eyebrow envy than should be healthy. LOL

On that note, I am so psyched at this thread right now, because the eyebrow question was one I never actually thought to ask, and now I know there's a chance (Based on genetics of course) that I might get eyebrows which don't suck.

I'll start bugging her about it.  ;)

I'm honestly hoping that as I get further into my hairy changes that my eyebrows will fix themselves a bit. My hair is naturally red so that basically counts them as nonexistent straight up. And, man, would I love to get my eyebrow pierced.
