I have a large desire to dress up as some of my favorite characters from the 80s. I am not sure whether I could pull it off though. I don't honestly think i look like any of the holograms let alone Jem. I know i don't look anything like she-ra eithier. Maybe I should just be a smurf.
What about you all? Show me or tell me about your dress up adventures.

Cosplay isn't about what you can "pull off". It's about doing what you want to do. If you wanna be SheRa, go rock that s***. You wanna be He-Man but aren't ripped? Big whoop! Do it anyway! Don't worry about what you can pull off or who you look like. Just go out and do ya thang, hun. :)
To strive to reach the apex of evolution is folly, for to achieve the pinnacle is to birth a god.

When the Stryker fires, all turn to dust in its wake.

I get what your saying there. I just want to dress as characters that I tend to look more like. Just for my own personal pleasure. Of course would be nice to someday cosplay at a comic con and win a prize ;) Not that that really matters. If i had a choice I would be Jem.

Haha, sorry. I just got so sick of my cosplay elitist sister always shooting down my ideas because I "couldn't pull it off" or "looked nothing like them", so I tend to rant sometimes.

Oh yeah that would make me mad too, my mom had a cow and 1/2 when I dressed as an elf.
