Help! Crystalized T and knot under injection site

Apologies for the long title but I think the two may be connected!
I'm almost finished with my first vial of testosterone that I inject intramuscularly but i noticed on my last shot day that my T appeared frozen, not thinking too much of it I injected as usual (though the needle I used was huge compared to my usual needles.)

Since then (thursday) Ive had a fairly large painful to touch bump under the injection site, feeling it it's almost like a knot under the skin.

What should I do? Will this go away over time or should I call my doctor? Is it possible  to fix my T because it has crystalized?

i'm sorry again for all the questions I am just very worried!

Given that your T was not how it normally is, it might be a good idea to check in with your doctor. Having said that, having a knot at your injection site is not that unusual. It happened to me during my last shot.

Sorry, but 

Crystallized injection meds can cause all kinds of mayhem to the cells and muscle. Most package inserts say NOT to use it if crystals appear. If it (knot) changes color or starts to heat up at the site it will be an infection and may need treatment. Please be more careful in the future. If it does not get bigger, change color or feel warm to the touch you seriously lucked out.

The T will crystallize if it gets cold. Make sure it is room temp before injecting. Other than that, it is probably a good idea not to use any medication that looks abnormal.

Will the crystallization go away if the T is moved to a warmer space?  Can it then be used?  I am assuming it shouldn't be, but thought I would still ask.

I just found mine because I was about to do an injection.  It had been laying on it's side and looks frozen.  Fortunately, I have another vial of the stuff, but there is probably 6-7 ml in there, so it REALLY stinks to waste it.  Fortunately, I have another vial, so I was still able to do my shot. 

I took a picture of it and I am sending it to my doc who will view it on Monday, but I am curious now.

It should be fine once the crystals go away. Your best bet is to move it some place warmer, but I've heard shaking it may help as well.

Thanks for the information.  I did move it.  I never would have expected it to crystallize where it was.  Damn cold weather!

Here's Pfizer's info sheet on the subject; they say it's fine to use after it's been warmed up and the crystals are gone. They should know, since they make it.
