Well,
I am full time now so I have to enhance my chest look.. just looks better with my build. So I was thinking about having breast surgery but only on Hormones for 14 months.
I am thinking that after that period of time if they are not big enough will never grow enough ... so would it hurt to have the surgery?
I love the idea of not needing it.. seriously but not sure I want to wait a year or two..

I wish I could offer some advice, but I'm only 3 months into HRT.  What did your bust measure before and after 14 months of HRT, compared to your band/underbust size?

I'm discouraged at the moment after seeing steady growth and both breast buds develop all in the second month.  But now they've stalled for 4+ weeks.  Has your growth stalled?

Can anyone who has been on HRT a while can please share your stories about growth-versus-stall episodes?

The 'standard' advice is to wait at least 2 yrs to let your natural growth develop. If you get BA before you can look odd. That said I'm thinking of it.

I was a double A after two years of being on hormones. I decided to have breast surgery after the two years and happy I did.

Sounds great to get them done at the same time!

Cis girls take 5-10 years to finish growing, and there's no reason to think our breasts would be *that* much different. Even the most conservative recommendation is 2 years, in part because implants before you're finished developing can end up making breasts look oddly shaped (not to mention what happens if you end up too big!).

Plus, patience can save you some money, I guess. ;)

I guess Im lucky to be a full 38 B and still growing 10 months in on HRT :D Thats the one area Im hoping to avoid surgery...

VFS then FFS then SRS then if needed body work THEN after all that I'll worry about them  ;)

Im optimistic they will be just fine all on their own though 8)

In Sweden you are allowed to do Breast argumentation after 6 months on HTR.

I'm sure I remember some people saying they had new growth post-GRS as the removal of the testes led to a re-balancing of the hormones and a fresh response from the body.  If you haven't had an orchi before that time then I'd be careful about premature enhancement of the breasts.  What are your measurements, if I may ask?

Following my GRS, my estrogen level basically tripled. My endo has since cut my daily estrogen by 50%.

^^^ You may have to remove your dosage numbers... I don't think that's allowed on the forums... Might want to just say "Dr cut my daily dosage in half"

And.....

This is TOTALLY off topic from this thread, but all you ladies with TickerFactory sigs... which "Ticker" did you have to pick to get a count UP ticker.

Choose "Event".  The ticker will automatically count down towards a future date or count up from a past date (or count down and then proceed to count up after the date is passed.)  Just be certain to not include the words "until" or "since" in your custom text because it also automatically inserts that.  I notice our friend above has the word "since" doubled-up and this reminded me to make the point.  Also keep in mind that you can't go back and edit a ticker once you finalize it.  If you don't like what you've created you will have to make a fresh one and update your ticker URL accordingly.

I see in your sig that you started electrolysis and HRT well after going full-time.  You must have been brave, crazy or incredibly gifted! ;)  You look great!  I wouldn't have dared go full-time first.  I'll have been 1.5 years on HRT and completed about 170 hours of electrolysis by the time I go full-time this summer.

Thank you for the ticker help!

And thank you for the compliment.  It took me about 9months and therapy sessions with my gender therapist to find the courage and self esteem to make my decision to go FT.  I've really embraced the "I don't give a sh!t what people in public think" mentality.  :D  I am very lucky in the facial hair department.  It only grows on my lip and chin (and not thick either) and after a morning shave was easy to cover up with foundation.

Anyways.. I apologize for derailing this breast thread. haha  Carry on ladies!

I see now that you got your tickers going you just started E (congrats!) and also that your Spiro-first regimen began almost exactly the same amount of time ahead of E as mine did.  I'm not used to seeing that approach amongst the members here even though it is pretty much standard practice at my health centre.  Maybe it's a Canadian thing? ;)  You must be feeling extra-good now!  Back closer on-topic, if you don't already have some natural breast growth it certainly should be underway shortly.

I actually have pretty good growth... not sore anymore like at first.. but I can't hide them in public.. but thats ok I am full time.  Yea!
I am not sure of my measurements.. but I am most likely between B and C...
The girls doing my makeup one day thought I had already had them done..
My Wife.. soon to be ex best friend and soul mate helped me pic out a couple bra's so if I go out to a formal type thing I enhance a bit for balance...  I am thick.. which sucks.
But anyway .. will be waiting a couple years I think.. or at least on year..
Thanks for the input and making the thread fun girls.

I think you are making a healthy judgement call to put-off your decision 1-2 years.  In the end, if you do go ahead and there has been more growth you should get better results and maybe even need smaller implants.  Given that you're virtually guaranteed to have to replace them more than once in your lifetime, avoiding any other unnecessary revisions is surely worthwhile.

Hi Dodie,

Just out of curiosity, would you say you're stage 4 or 5 in breast development?  I'm not sure about this but if you're not close to stage 5, would you still have potential to grow more naturally?  Have you taken progesterone/prometrium ?

Paige :)
