Unexpected coming out

Well I unexpectedly ended up coming out to my mother today. My family is in a very peculiar spot right now, I have a younger sinking who just came out as FtM and I am now coming out, gradually it seems, as MtF. My mother handled the whole thing surprisingly well and even asked me what pronouns to use now. Has anyone sort of had things move unexpectedly fast in that time right before transition begins? You know as far as self acceptance and coming out goes. I suppressed a lot of this until very recently and wanted to deal with it multiple times over the years but always convinced myself it was impossible or not true. Now I feel like I've finally found the courage to openly be who I know I am deep down and it feels rather surreal.
