I can tell my mother has been drinking.  The other day, I asked her not to turn my air conditioner on when I'm not here because it drips.  She eventually said okay.  Tonight, I come home from work, and the air conditioner is on.  Later on she says "Aren't you glad I turned your air conditioner on?" twice.  I spit out my food, smiled and said yes.  I guess I am glad that she thought about me, but no, I'd rather not have the side of my bed wet....

If its a window unit, make sure its tilted a little towards the back and look for the drain, it might be clogged. It shouldn't drip inside.

Last year, we had to use a giant stick to tilt it back, but I just can't be bothered to deal with that again.  It's just easier to take the fan out of the bathroom and use that, lol.

I really hope I'm not about to catch a summer cold, I've been sneezing the last few days on and off, and I don't get hayfever or anything. I feel tired but that might be partly because I woke up at 7AM for a blood test... Taking it easy today.
My name is Luke !!  I like to draw.

I'm really tired of seeing all the resurgence of "confederate pride" on facebook over this stupid flag issue. Its such a shame that people want to glorify a symbol of a tragic chapter in our history that took too many lives. I don't think any of them even realize that it was a battle flag and not even used by all the different divisions of the south at the time. Nor that the flag wasn't even really much of a symbol after the civil war until the fight for desegregation began in the South, then the flag got brought out and guess what, it was used by those who didn't want those black people going to the same schools as their white kids. I'm ashamed of living any where near the south currently, but thank goodness I wasn't born here....

Marines and Navy has some of the best running cadences.  For me, I say the Marines come in at number one, though.

Seems like about a third of my fb news feed is about equality, a third is a bunch of religious stuff and the rest is a mix of puppies, the minions, shark attacks and family stuff.

My co-worker is moving to Virginia and had a yard sale yesterday.  She told me her Sailor Moon stuff almost sold, but didn't.  She offered them to me (her drawing and over 100 Sailor Moon cards) both for $2 total.  She really just needs to get rid of things so her move will be easier, so I'm going to take that stuff off her hands!  Then I found a dollar today, so it's like I'm only paying $1!  Awesome!  I'm getting them Sunday.  My mom said it's more junk, and it is really, but at least I will always have something to remember her by....that is until I sell that stuff a flip it for a profit, lol, but that won't be anytime soon.

No really....I do have a lot of items.  I need to start selling again on Facebook yardsale groups!

I'm thinking with all the news swirling around that the ban on openly transgender service members might soon be lifted, I'm also thinking this month is almost over and I might be stuck waiting another year since nobody will likely care about it after this month. I'm thinking i'm going to need some serious vocal surgery and therapy for my voice or I'll never pass and I'm scared Estrogen won't do anything for me. I'm a nervous wreck about things I cannot control.

I enjoy being a girl!

(Trite, I know. So what.)
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

I think the best advice I can give is give it a try, go full time, work on your voice and train it, take your hormones and see where you get, personally I've been amazed and now I'm at the point where I don't think I'll do any work except SRS/GRS whilst I thought I'd need the full works.

The best "Run to Cadence" CD covers in my opinion are the Army Airborne: Volume 2 and Marines: Volume 3, in my opinion.

So, today's shark attack in Dare county, the second in as many days, is the sixth shark attack on the NC coast this month. I'm thinking about going swimming on the core banks on the fourth now.  Maybe that I'm high in trans fat will keep them from biting me...

I appreciate the advice, but none of these things are really anything I can do while serving. Im starting to think hardly anybody is even really aware that the biggest employer of transgendered people is also its largest discriminator.

Edit: I didn't like the way I responded so I fixed it.

Instead of polluting it, will dump my trash here. I am so looking forward to get T free and get help keeping the package quiet. If it shrinks, that will make tucking easier. All in all, I see how hrt eases the dysphoria, together with its other benefits.

Yeah your situation is not good, hopefully the US Armed Services will become more tolerant soon, I know quite a few of the trans people that serve here in Canada have done down and discussed how incorporating trans people into the Armed Services here has been trouble free, I think it's mostly a matter of time now.

I'm thinking I'm not worth spending a ->-bleeped-<-load of money on for top surgery but I gotta do it. I'll probably go private for the sake of work but I'm too gutless to say that maybe they should pay part since I'm spending for their benefit.
