Are there any natural sources for estrogen?

There are naturally occurring estrogens in plenty of foods - the thing is they will not help you grow breasts. Sorry, they just won't. Believe me I tried for a number of months prior to actually starting hormones - various teas and food whatnots that were meant to decrease my testosterone and raise estrogen. But didn't. Apart from making me sweat a lot and go to the loo a lot they basically did nothing. A big fat zero. Zilch. Didn't even make a dent in my blood readings for estrodil and testosterone. A waste of time and money.

As soon as I started HRT though - wow did I see the difference within only a few weeks.

So my endo suggested that my development what I get in two years on hrt is about the size I'll end up with...I know that it takes years for cis women to develop, but their hormone levels are gradual, " ours" are full to start once hrt is started,or within a fed months. Is this true?
Still related to topic, not trying to hijack thread.

Kristyn : That idea is going around a lot too, but from what I've seen it's not true. In fact, I don't know of a single trans woman whose breasts were fully mature within 2 years. It's true that we don't have the gradual ramp-up cis girls do and their bodies usually do take a couple years to get up to "full speed ahead," but even so they can take anywhere from 5-10 years from beginning genuine development to fully mature.

I'm 5 years on HRT and just now noticed my bras are fitting tighter again... and I developed really fast early on, so I'd actually wondered if I might be done in 2 years even if most women aren't.

(Oh, and I'm several cup sizes bigger than my [very thin] mother and at least 2 cup sizes bigger than my [curvier but small build] sister, but I also had a busty grandmother. Genetics are weird.)

One thing I would like to point out what would be the difference between tg and cis breasts well if ya think about it we are mammals right and mammals means mammalary glands aka breasts. There in itself should point to that give breasts get the food of estrogen then they are in fact natural and perhaps yes also progesterone. For me just interesting to know I have not start hrt yet but sure going to no matter what even if it is just a try. The mother size thing well for me that one is a real gamble for a guess here is why. Mother a size B smaller frame however sister bigger frame and DD myself bigger frame and well tbh hope for a C just to look proportionate. If it happens they are smaller so be it it will be what nature well with a boost lol will have given me. Once as many have you mentioned give it a lot of time then maybe augmentation. I am 6ft with large chest I am not looking for XXX breasts lol just something relatively proportionate. If I were to gamble well B-DD then C must be a fair guess in that:) Lastly they will be totally real if its from hrt alone after all they are not some foreign growth on females are they no its normal even gynomastia if ya think about it we are in fact mammals.

This might be a little off topic but my 2 bits:)

Thank you Violet. That wasn't the website I remember but I feel it makes the point equally well.

Apologies for my presumption.

I've been poking around the net for more in case anyone is interested:

Mostly close-up shots of individual breasts:

From a clinic website and labeled "deformity correction" - I'm only posting this because they mention a non-incision/non-implant procedure:

This one is in a slide-show format and one of the nicest presentations because each photo has a commentary by the woman featured:

Mine are getting bigger.

The breasts? Bigger.

Nipples? Bigger.

Areole? Bigger.

Breasts? Big enough. They can stop now, please.

Nipples? Getting there.

Areole? Still small, but MUCH larger than they were.

They look fine. They feel big. Too big. Careful what you wish for.

Oh I DO wish !
And I never was careful.

The more common differences between trans ans cis breasts are only due to underdevelopment , otherwise if a trans woman starts on HRT early enough there will be no internal or external differences shawn, even size wise. Staring HRT early for me meant I have big areolas (almost too big for my liking to tell you the truth) and developed sizeable breasts that I still decided to eventually get enhanced by a BA.

Highlighted a critical understanding - that, to my knowledge, is the sole difference. Transwomen can lactate, can feed a child, the works.

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.

does this not require that you also take natural progesterone to get to this point?

mine look the same as cis-woman breasts.

I have large aureola's and nipples, but i don't think they are too large for my breast size (D cup)... I often sunbath topless with my girl friends (I hate tan lines, and i wear a lot of strappy tops in the summer) and my breasts look the same as there's.

Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

I'm dying to do this now that A, I'm no-longer doing laser on my chest so I don't have to hide from the sun, and B, I NOW HAVE BOOBS!  I'll keep the exposure to a minimum though because A, I burn easily, and B, I have super-girly-youthful skin that I don't want turned to leather!

After 5+ years of constant HRT, mine are indestinguishable from a natal female's breasts. With bra I can manage decent clevage, but not satisfactory to my liking. Lying on my side produces great cleavage though. Implants are in my future!

And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III
