MihaelKai

Good morning and hello! Well... hello again anyway! I'm Aleks and MihaelKai is the handle I currently go by online. I happen to be a New Yorker, pansexual, FTM, and 21 years of age. I've been out to my lovely friends and my... well-meaning mother since early 2009 and I've been with my dear boyfriend since mid 2009. I used to have an account on here back in... I want to say it was circa 2010. But unfortunately a combination of disability, a living situation that included a rather bigoted grandfather, and general life chaos made transitioning legally or medically at the time nothing short of impossible. And seeing everyone making progress while I couldn't was just... disheartening. So I kind of stopped coming around. And then our house was damaged by Hurricane Irene. And then our house was totalled by Hurricane Sandy. Our house still isn't fixed and we've been living in a rental for two years. So the last couple of years have certainly been... a process. But things seem to have steadied as much as they can for the moment and I'm finally out of this holding pattern and moving forward again! I began seeing the lovely people at Callen-Lorde back in October. Much excitement later, my first shot of T was stuck in my leg on the 28th of last month and my third is in a couple of days! Huzzah! While searching out some things on the internet the other day, I stumbled across this place again. And remembered how this site always was a really good community and resource. And so I'm back! Hopefully this time I'll wind up staying for a while!

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
