Dreamed I was in a curio shop looking for a workplace Secret Santa (this shop even sold chimps, btw!). When I reached the checkout I found a group of friends - none of them, including Kate from LOST*, were people I know in real live, but hey, they were dream friends! They all paid before me and went outside, by the time I'd finished paying though they were nowhere to be seen. I looked around, the street was quite busy but I couldn't see them anywhere. That was disappointing and I was about to walk away when I heard someone yell out "Grace!" And it was one of my dream friends waving at me from a cafe! Yay! ;D

Do your dreams use your right name?

*Also, I must say I'm quite hot for Evangaline Lilly (the actress who played Kate in LOST) even though I haven't thought about her since she was in that Hobbit movie...dreams, gotta love 'em for their subconscious wackiness!

I had a dream just last night where I was un school and my math teacher was being transphobic and calling me by my old name on purpose, but that was a first all my other dreams for the last 3 months or so my dream people have all been very nice :D x

I've been either cis-female or post-op in all my dreams for months. I have noticed though that since going on HRT, I've had more frequent dreams and they are more vivid and intense. I've been told that most people don't dream in color, but I always have. However since HRT they have been much more saturated than pre-HRT. The colors are alive and vibrant where as before they were faded and dead. Many nights the dreams are so intense that I wake up feeling physically exhausted. As if I've been running around all night long or something. I've had exhaustive dreams before, but they are typically no more than a couple per year. I've already exceeded my "quota" for the decade in the past 3 weeks.

Wow, I could have sworn I've been on HRT for longer.
O well this ticker will help me keep track.

I was correctly gendered in a dream for the first time ever last night! :D I woke up overjoyed, even tho I'm being misgendered constantly in real life, just thinking of that dream (and the possibility that it could become my future very soon) makes me so ecstatic

One of my earliest "signs" was when I was about 6 or 7 and I had a weird dream that I was a girl sitting on a bench with this giant oppressive machine behind me belching out smoke.  Symbolic!

When I was 10, I had a dream that my male bits were like a big droopy bag that touched the ground and I wanted them off.

When I was around 16, I had a sexual dream where I switched bodies with my girlfriend at the time while making out.

All of these were so vivid that I can remember them nearly the same today, even conjuring up the same intense feelings.  But I can't think of any gender-related dreams recently.  Lately I keep having a recurring dream where I am in an arcade sticking my finger where the quarters drop out and finding several quarters so I don't have to spend any of my money!  Sweet!

Usually when I have nightmares I'm in a female body. When I have a good dream I'm in a male one. Go figure. Though last night I had a "coming out dream" that was half nightmare and I woke up in a panic. So that was a little of both.

i recently had a dream where i came out as ftm and had actually started transition, so i was in male clothing with a short haircut. at first, i was in my psychology class, and one of my friends (whose name is alex - yes, that is important) was bullying me for being transgender. shortly after a few hurtful taunts, i was suddenly back at my house packing up my old dollhouse from when i was younger and putting it onto a chair. apparently, this chair served the same function as any automobile and my grandmother, my sister and my father and i were all planning on travelling somewhere using this chair.

the next thing i remember is being in a silver minivan and driving down an almost empty highway with my sister and two other guys, one of which was the character alex mahone (played by william fitchner) from the tv show "prison break." we had to pull over because we were out of gasoline, and soon everyone except me began arguing over directions and our strandedness. after a while, a boy i know from school, whose name is also alex, had to pull over because his gigantic brown camouflage tank-jeep-thing's engine was burnt (it was literally this ginormous brown camouflage machine that looked like a mixture between a tank and a jeep). he asked me to help him fix it, and i agreed. interestingly, although i barely talk to this guy in real life, he considered me to be male. however, he still called me by my birth name, but i suppose that's because i haven't fully decided upon another name yet.

then i woke up and was sad because i hate it when my dreams end. :(

(...i am honestly clueless as to why there were three different people named alex in my dream... very strange... ???)

I had an odd dream where I was still female, but I wasn't me. I was a teenage girl. It probably has to do with the fact that the game "Life is Strange" is heavily on my mind right now. I didn't have the ability to rewind time though so I obviously wasn't max from the game.

Only ever had one dream where I was male, the rest have been genderless or female.

Most of the time, my dream characters call me Lucas, thankfully. :)

As for my body... I'm still pre-op, not by choice, it's a work in progress... in my dreams, it's a random mix. Sometimes I have my current body. Sometimes I'm completely male, as if I had been born like that. Sometimes I'm post-op. The weirdest dreams, though, are the ones where I have my current body, but I pretend I'm post-op and the dream characters act like I'm post-op as well. That includes sex dreams, which can be very weird... :P

I've noticed that I'm gendered correctly in dreams, but I keep screwing up the pronouns even in dreams. Sometimes I get them right sometimes I don't. However I'm to the point where hearing or seeing my birth name is odd.
