If you haven't already, I'd say go ahead and get in touch with whatever surgeon you're leaning towards. Even though you have the money to pay for it, it's not as easy as walking into a doctor's office and saying you're ready to go next week. When I scheduled mine at the end of beginning of February, the end of April was my earliest option, so I wouldn't worry about someone trying to schedule you ASAP. TBH, the surgeon I'm going to didn't even expect me to book on the same day as the consult, so it is pretty common for people to have a consult and take time to think about it. They'll also be a good judge of whether or not you should try to lose any weight.
Your dimensions sound fairly similar to mine. I'm a small B cup, but my shoulders through my hips (36 x 29 in pants) are very wide, so I look very solid. My surgeon was open to discussing which procedures I wanted, but I ultimately left it up to her to decide. We're going with a DI. Another option you could inquire about is a peri with lateral extensions. They do the incisions around the areola and then do an extension slice into the armpit region to take out additional tissue. A good option if you have as weird a chest as I do.
