Send some letters let him know that we exist. I read on a forum that some cis guys with Peyronies have been mass emailing him and got some responses. Also one guy phoned the research centre and his assistant called back the next day and put the guy on an interest list for potential trials, also MTF'S have an interest database with wake forest after the news of the lab grown vagina. At least one of us should write to him for an explanation as to why the lab grown penis is not suitable for us as stated in some articles. I would write letters everyday but im not the best at getting a point across

I emailed them about a year ago and asked if their research in penis regeneration would later include female to male patients, if they believe their research can be adapted for sexual reassignment surgery (for both FTM and MTF since they've done uterus implants in cis females), and what their stance on transgender issues was in general.

All I got back was a generic response from one of the research team members, supposedly, with an offer to be put on a mailing list. They didn't even answer one of my questions. My email was short and polite so they're either busy and couldn't answer or simply didn't want to have to answer those questions and skipped over it.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to have other guys try writing them to see if or how they respond.

I've heard some organ regeneration 'experts' say that if you didn't have the organ before, that it would be difficult or even impossible to grow one.  In other words, if you weren't born with a John Thomas, you're still not getting one.

I'm calling bollocks on this.

I think it's a great idea to send loads of letters.  Anyone got an address?  Email or snail mail or both?

If we can splice glow in the dark genes into different animals, we can grow diddles.

We should still contact Dr. Atala & his team for consideration to grow skin tissues and vein cells for the Radial Forearm Flap that wraps around the phalloplasty penile pump implant. Other "free flaps" include cutting from the back and thigh, neither is better.

This way, we wouldn't have massive scarring on our arms (like before where we would have to cut then transplant the piece of graft skin from our arms). Think about it, we'd still have a realistic looking penis (that can also be erectile, with pumps that are getting better and better). Less healing to do, in addition to top surgery, or any other health-related surgeries/complications down the road.

If they are not able to reproduce spongy cells that mimic cis-male phallus from female physiology, then we can at least conserve forearm debilitations and aesthetics.

I'm still in school at the moment, but any one who's ready for surgery should contact ASAP.

Hopefully it won't be so impossible given a few more years. Sucks that we're just getting to this now. That's a good compromise idea, but I know a lot of people would wanna go all the way if they were gonna do it.
