hello, I'm 18 this year, and i'm looking a way to permenantly remove my growing beard, i'm scared that once i shaved them, the become permenent studs, so i've just never shaved before...  it's currently growing from mainly my top of my lips and a little of the bottom, and it looks desasterous, especially when i look like a male...

i've heard that pulling the hairs out would work?  cuz i don't have the money to get laser hair removal..

and if you have any tips, how do you change your physcial apearent more femenine while not being weird at the "transition period"

thankyou!

Hi vin, Welcome to Susan's.

Shaving won't affect how fast or think your beard grows. Plucking can work but it would be a long and painful process.

How to look fem without an in between period is sort of like being an adult from a toddler without growing up. I'll leave some others to work with you on that,.

Meanwhile, here are some links to site rules and some answers to often asked questions.

Hii!! I'm also 18 and I'm going to get laser on my upper lip and chin, as I saved money. I don't know if I will be able to have many sessions but I will be saving money in case I get more hair growing. I don't have a lot.

Well, to feminize your appearance, you could start growing your hair out and plucking your eyebrows. If you do them right, it will make all the difference. I swear. I look so much femmier with my eyebrows done. Then, makeup. Start practicing, practicing, practicing. Buy cheap makeup from the drugstore and when you get it right, you could start buying more expensive makeup. Oh and the voice, train if it's guy sounding. It really goes a long way. Interestingly, sometimes I get mam'd by taxi drivers which is weird to me because I don't look right, but it does make a difference.

Good luck!!! I'm basically the same as you, I'm just starting out.

Shaving won't have any negative effects. Go ahead and shave for now. Get a good quality razor and blades. Some TG folks just shave 2-3 times a day and use Dermablend or other cover schemes to disguise shadow. When you do get ready to have hair removal you'll just need to let it grow out a bit so they can get it.

I do IPL.... Many people here suggest against it, and honestly if I had the money and means I'd probably do something more expensive and faster...

However.... After approximately 10 sessions I have literally nothing left, except a tiny tiny tiny bit over my lip.... And there was a time I had a full beard..... And the tiny hair that is left, takes at least 3 days to become noticeable at all..

Plus, with IPL the more you shave, the faster and more effective it is, you don't need to let it grow like with electrolysis...
