Hi everyone! I've been waiting a while to see if anyone would do an update about dr rossi, but I could only find one that a girl had left a little while ago (which is what made me decide to book with them. I also love Amanda at T change cause she seems to always have time to answer my question properly.

Anyway has anyone gone to see Dr Rossi recently? I'm getting a little nervous/paranoid cause that I've made the right decision to go with them. Thanks heaps, any feedback is welcome

Hi again Chloe. I went to T. Change for full FFS with Dr Rossi in September 2014. Unfortunately, because I do not want to get into trouble with the admin on this site for promoting a surgeons work, I can only direct you to the tgboards website. On page nine of the "Transition" section [at the moment at the top of that page], you will find what you are looking for. Its been 6 months now since my surgery, and that thread really needs to be updated. If you go on it, you will be able to ask as many questions as you like, and look at photographs. I know that you will be answered quickly. Sorry that I cant answer you on this forum, but they have their rules, which I do not want to fall foul of.   :)      Oh by the way, Im an Ozy citizen too, Brisbane and the Gold Coast 2003 to 2008, Happy Days. Im living back in the UK again now, just waiting for the £ to get stronger against the AU$ then I can cash everything in, and move back over there.

Hi Chloe!
I got my FFS done by Dr. Rossi last year and must say I am very happy with the results. Everybody says you must wait at least six months before making any judgment on the results so I've been very cautious all this time. This statement is so true... had you asked me last year, I would have responded much more reluctantly as everything was still swollen so if that was going to be the final result I didn't like it as much. During the first months everything looked better than before but not as good as I expected because of the swelling and everything... I had a lot of doubts and even regretted using my savings for surgery... But now I love my new face and am so happy with it! :D

Amanda made the usual before and afters at the 6 months mark and emailed them to me. When I looked at them for the first time I felt so thrilled...
I chose Dr. Rossi because he had some promotional discounts at the time and also because I live in Argentina so he was my natural choice.
If you want to see my pictures, they are now posted on the doctor's website –with my permission of course. They are the first row on top of the rest http://t-change.com/facial-feminization-surgery.php
He performed a forehead reconstruction type 3, chin and jaw contouring, upper lip lift and a rhinoplasty that was meant to fix a botched surgery that I got some years ago. My nose was so messed up that he only fixed the bony part of the bridge –the bones were fractured in a way that they had a hole in the middle instead of a ridge so he put the walls together and made the bridge thinner. The tip would have required several hours of surgery just to fix it alone with cartilage grafts or something, so it was left for another occasion. It doesn't bother me so much and I may well leave it as it is.
So bottom line, to respond your question my experience with Dr. Rossi was very positive.

Wow thanks so much ladies. I was a little worried after I put down my deposit that I was rushing into it. But now I feel alot more comfortable with it. I used to live in buenos aires as well, so that helped with my decision making. Wish time would hurry up! I've got my surgery booked for September 2nd.. Although it feels like a lifetime away, I know I've gots to do some serious saving! Still worried at what I'll say to work when I return. I'm thinking of telling them I had a nose job and that's why my face is swallow.

Thanks again xxx

I was a bit skeptical who to go to for FFS but after reading this thread, I'm definitely going to Dr Rossi. Thank you so much ladies :)

How does the consultation work if you are in another country?

Hi ava, you just send them an email via the website. Amanda will ask you for photos from the front and side profile.

I sent them through and then got a response of what dr javier recommended to make me look more feminine. But my photos weren't very good. So he will confirm when I'm there what we should do. Amanda/dr javier has answered all my questions really well actually, I can't wait to get my surgery and can finally write on here about my experience,  it's under 2 months away, but that feels like a lifetime at the moment as I've had to be so frugal with my money in order to save.

Thank you bamar86 / Chloe :)

I have already sent my photos to Amanda. Sent a couple of them and hope to get feedback soon.

I also messaged / forwarded my pictures to both Dr. Barry Eppley (America) and Dr. Chettawut Tulayaphanich (Thailand) - got very prompt responses from Dr Eppley and also received feedback from Dr Chettawut today.

Dr. Chettawut Tulayaphanich is very very pricey - still need to see what Dr Eppley and Dr Rossi quote me for.

So far, both Dr Eppley and Dr Chettawut identified the same problem areas. Hopefully Dr Rossi also is consistent with the feedback.
