Hello again! I tend to just sporadically check in here and there, but decided I would go ahead and write about another change. So as I have stated before, I work at Starbucks and recently (like last week recently) transferred to another store 2 towns over from where I live due to issues with management -nothing to do with my transition, just personal issues with them- and everyone at my new store is so amazing! They are a really close group of people and within 1 shift of working there had already accepted me as one of their own. The even more amazing thing, is that they asked me right off the bat what my preferred pronouns are and if/when I will be switching names and when they should make the change as well. All of them, including my new store manager and shift managers, have treated me so exceptionally well and made me feel safe and welcome and have been nothing but supportive. They all just see me as another girl who works there and for the first time in more than a year I am actually excited to go to work again!
