Changed Gender Marker With Car Insurance

This prompted me to check GEICO. I didn't like dealing with them in 2003 when I bought the 2004 Honda. They lost a check then sent me an angry letter threatening to cancel. Plus their rates weren't so hot.

But now they came in a bit lower than Progressive.

As a male, $884 for 6 months even with really high coverages (100/300, 300 uninsured, comp/coll with $100 deductible) which match my current progressive policy.

Get this though, as a female I only save $4 at GEICO for the 6 month term for the same coverage.

Nevertheless, I may give them a second look.
