Hi, so I'm courtney, im 24 mtf from ct I 'm still working on fully coming out, it's been about 3 years Seince I first came out too one of my exes, and it's basically been a roller coaster ride as I'm sure most of u understand, my whole family knows, a good amount of friends, I still avoid being dressed In my town, and I still have a job that is definitely not trans friendly, I've looked into getting on hormones in the past, even went to see a dr, and the dr basically turned out to be a fraud and had never deal with someone trans before, and now I'm on state insurance and can't fine a dr that they will cover that handles gender identity. I don't know, kindof been really lost latley, looking for advice on allot of different topics, I've been endlessly depressed for multiple reasons. But yea for now I just wanted to introduce myself, stumbled across this form by mistake and decided to join!

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hello and welcome to Susan's Courtney! It sounds like you're on the right track. This forum has helped me immensely!

I def know what you mean about the roller coaster ride lol.. omg it's been absolutely insane. Also fun though. I'm kind've an adrenaline junky.. so I rather enjoy the madness without having to risk hurting myself. (Prior military.)

I've been out to my family and friends for about 8 months I think.. some longer than others though. I also do not dress in public yet. I want to try it SOON. I'm just waiting until my wifey tells me I'm ready. She's been very helpful.

If you have any questions that you want to ask. This forum has multiple places to post them. If you're looking to ask more personal questions.. Heck just PM me! lol.. I'll help with anything I can. I'm pretty open.

Anyways. It's good that you stumbled upon us. I hope you feel at home here. I know I do.

Hey rotika, I've gotten over dressing public, it's just being in my town that I have issues with,  just parents friends and old friends and peoe I went to high school with, I'm just not ready for that yet, tho as soon as I get a town or two away I instantly relax lol, I've also been classified as an adrenaline junkie, I ised to race motocross, actually recently made friends with a lesbian girl who identifies and gender fluid, ( not Gona lie kindof have a crush on her but whatever that's something for a different day) I also just recently started to move away from using a wig, my real hairs not quite long enough yet, but wigs are such a pain, and the one I had is at the end of its life! I've also recently just gotten out of a very short and very horrible relation ship, short story she was told from the start I was trans, she happened to meet me as a boy, she told me she was ok with it, just had to get used to it, so stupid me kindof toned down the real me to ease her into it just to have her flip out one day, say some really mean stuff and leave me because she couldn't deal with me being trans, 3 days later comes begging for me back, saying I'm the best thng to happen to her, and she doesn't care that I'm trans, sure enough same thing a week later she flips out, and this cycle went on for a while, just frustrating, I'm bi but I perfer women, and it's hard enough to find a girl comfortable being with someone trans, let alone have one play games, to an extent I understand, but it was taken far beyond that extent! And now that I've written all of this I can't remember the other person who posted after you

Hi Courtney!

A big warm welcome to Susan's Place! It's always nice to welcome another sister to our ever growing family! You will find many wonderful people here that have either gone through or are going through the same feelings you are. You are not alone with how you feel and yes it is quite the roller coaster that we are on. There are same fantastic resources available here also. Everything is right at your finger tips so pull up a chair, relax and let your fingers do the walking! I look forward to seeing you around the forums and getting to know you. I wish you nothing but the best of luck on your journey and may the Angels always look upon you and help guide you on your path!

Much Love,

Melissa Ann
