Ceci

Hello! I'm Ceci and I've finally made an account here, even though I've known the site since a long time ago. Hope I can make some friend here!
Well, I'm still minor and have already came out from the closet at home, but my parents aren't happy with it. I've started a therapy but I was forced to quit, so I can't come back until I'm independent...
Though I'm going to start to work soon, so I want to take some hormone blockers just to get rid of testosterone. But I have some questions...
Is it safe to use blockers without the knowledge of a doctor? And also, what will change in my body? Will my breast or even my face change? Also, could you recommend me any medications to take? I really know nothing about this!
I'm sorry if the text sounds strange, I'm not very good at English...
Anyway, thanks! Hope you can help me... kisses!

Hi Ceci,

Taking blockers during puberty is very dangerous and that is why medical supervision is needed. There are real risks of bone damage and organ damage during puberty and that is one reason that special blockers are used rather than the ones used in adults. There is no way to obtain them without going through the medical system.

Keep talking to your parents and keep insisting that you need to be with a therapist to help you.

Welcome young lady and try and stay strong. There is a youth area here that will help you find friends.
