Question: (I'm 72 Weeks HRT)
Would using a breast pump (for milk) help with breast development or size by making my mammary glands active?

I figure that it might help with both breast size and calorie burning to help me lose a little weight (i'm 150lb with a gamers gut).

Very interesting idea, i had not put any thought into that. i keep hearing progesterone really helps with breast growth. you may want to look into that first.

It can, however there is a protocol to follow if you want to do that, although lactation is usually the result of constant demand which in turns produces supply. There are members here who are involved in ANR (adult nursing relationships). It's something that one doesn't enter into lightly as it's time consuming and can be problematic. Best way to stimulate breast development in addition to HRT is to use a hand held massage vibrator and give the breasts a good going over several times a day, it tends to increase the blood flow into the breasts which carries the hormones to receptors and the fact that it feels pretty darned good is an added bonus.

I did for a while, and it truly matures the breast tissue well.  It increases bloodflow, bringing more of your hormones to the breast tissue, it develops the glandular tissue and increases prolactin.....

the result I had wasn't exactly LARGER breasts, but it rounded them well, and they are much fuller.

just don't get shocked when you start leaking colostrum

My boobs are quite pointy so rounding sounds very good, I take it that they are rounder because they're storing milk or colostrum?

How long (weeks/months) did you use pumps?

no, I'm not currently lactating, so they aren't round due to storing milk.....but inducing lactation causes the breast tissue to mature and extra glandular tissue to form....it'll expand the areola too.....

I only pumped for a few weeks consistantly....maybe a month

That doesn't seem like too long, out of curiosity did you notice the amount pumped out increase over time as the glands got used to it?

(gonna look up the local stores for a cheap manual pump or two since electric is too loud and expensive)

it takes a long time to start lactating.....

I stopped shortly after starting to produce colostrum

Well breasts are made up of adipose tissue (fat), glands and ducts. You need to know two broad ways to increase the breast size:

1) Non Surgical Procedures in which you can use herbal remedies, medical devices such as breast pumps etc. that you can order from suppliers like ilexmedical.com, physical exercises and external accessories like push up bra, commando take outs etc.

2.) Surgical Procedures in which an implant is placed in your body, to increase the size of your breast.
When you pump enough then your breast will certainly undergoes the transformation and it is of course possible to have increase size by using a breast pump.

I'd thought about doing this, but I'd read that breasts can shrink afterwards and get saggy so I didn't try it. I'm kind of tempted now. I'm just wondering if this a permanent change after you stopped and were they still growing at the time?

I also did this for a while about 2 years back.. the affects my breasts was permanent.. my breasts became fuller as my milk ducts matured. I bought myself a breast pump to try extract milk.. at the end i managed to extract just over half the amount of milk a healthy cis-woman would need to feed a child.

Lactation takes time.. the first time I managed to lactate I got a few drops out.. as time went on, I started to get a good flow. I had a electric pump..which did both breasts at the same time.. I kinda liked the feeling of the pump as it sucked on my nipples. it creates like a vacuum on your breasts... i used to pump twice a day.. before i stopped i took some time off work ( a week) and i tried to pump like a young mother would... i did it 5 times a day.. my breasts produced.. but your nipples can get sore.. a good nipple cream worked.

After the week I called it a day and  l took a pill that dried up all my milk..

One day I would like to adopt a baby, maybe if possible i would like to breast feed him or her.. after consulting with a doctor of course as i am not sure if our milk is of the same quality as a cis-womans.
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

I read that a genetic male's milk only lacks one protein that a cis woman's would have. I can't remember the name of that protein, but wasn't an essential one, it said in the info.

It's milk, same as anybody's. Just check all your meds to be sure none of them say not to use while breastfeeding. My old BP med did. Now all my BP needs are met by spiro.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Adolescent girls use breast massage as help with growth...for example twice a day... you can look that up...
its said to induce some hormones and increase blood flow and help with receptors being stimulated...

the breast pump might have a similar effect, there are some with modes for stimulation, but manually stimulating the whole breast might have an additional effect... and well its up to you if you really want to stimulate as much as for lactation, there are guides for that...

I'm going to have to look into this. It sounds like a lot of hassle, but hopefully worth it. Like everything these days I suppose.
