I was terrified too but thankfully, I did not let my fear get the best of me and it paid off...I'm doing quite well on injections. :) Better than on pills or patches.

Too each their own! Glad to hear that you are doing well :) I think patches are the right route for me at the moment. Maybe I will re-visit the injectable idea, but right now I am just happy to be off the pills.

I have had a similar experience the the OP. While I have only been on hrt since the beginning of November, my testosterone levels have not dropped at all despite the fact that my estrogen levels have doubled. According to my doctor, Spiro can sometimes take 6-8 months to make a significant impact on T levels. I won't see her again till mid June, and am really hoping they have dropped by then. Only time will tell, but it definitely has me a bit concerned because my musculature  is one of the few dead give aways I have that is preventing me from passing most of the time.

If we consistently fail to celebrate our successes, others will certainly celebrate our failure.

Estrogen, sometimes progesterone and the lack of testosterone, over time increase subcutaneous fat which cover muscle which help soften features. Muscle mass also decreases. It takes awhile. Months to a couple of years.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience
