Very interesting article.  In the musical I'm in, there's actually 3 girls who are playing boy parts, so as you can imagine, there's a lot of cross-gender type of talk.  I find it interesting since I'm in stealth and I can talk about people playing the opposite gender, yet nobody questions my gender, which is really cool.  Unfortunately, with my costume I need to completely hide my hair underneath a handkerchief, and I was hardly wearing any makeup yesterday (just eyeliner) and to me it was hard to see anything but the old male face, yet still nobody questioned my gender, which I found amazing because I was so nervous.  I even danced with a cute guy I find attractive.  On top of that, I ended up having several conversations about those women who dress up as guys (complete with male wig) on things they could do to appear more masculine.  Of course, I wasn't going to offer my credentials, so unfortunately my ideas weren't given much credence.
