Hi, I'm new here.  I'm 31 and not really sure how to identify msyelf under the umbrella of TG.  Basically, I'm male but have felt very feminine much of my life.  I like my male side but am looking to let my more feminine side out, even to go as far as making my appearance more feminine.  (I've been dressing on and off since I was 12).

This decision has come at a cost as I am getting divorced.  My wife has been very compassionate and understanding, but she wants someone who is heterosexual and won't compete with her for the femine roles in marriage.  (I'm bisexual.) The bright side is in a month I will be free to start exploring this femininity in me openly when the divorce happens.

There is so much information here that I felt I should join the forums to see what I can learn from others as well and hopefully contribute as well although I'm a novice as all of this goes.  I just want to express the joy I feel at not having to repress these feelings any more.  I look forward to talking with you all....

Nice to meet you Jaqui.

It is sad that you have to go through a divorce but it sounds like you see this as a positive thing for both of you. I hope things don't get too bitter.

All the best for your exploration of the inner self!

Céaid míle fáilte. Jacquie you are very welcome here to explore, express, share and ask. Yes it is a great site and I hope you will get here all the info, support and advice you might need. Just take your time, don't rush into anything and remember that you are a unique individual, as such you might relate to others experiences but at the end of the day you don't have to conform to what you might feels as others expectations of being "truely" transgendered. Good luck on your voyage of self discovery and self realisation. Go n-éirí do bhóthar leat

Hope, Light, Love & Respect
