You did your very best to help her. So please don't blame yourself in any way.You were there for her. Just think of it as part of her illness.

It's like taking care of a person who is terminal ill . All that matters is you did your very best. I took care of my parents and did my very best before they died. My Best friend(GG) who knows about me is taking care of her mother who is a stroke victim. She seems to have a sixth sense in adjusting her mothers medication and she takes care of her mother in the best way.
