Hello girls,

I just noticed that whenever I get turned on or being sexually aroused, my labia minora part / urethra is getting hard and puffy. This really bothers me sometimes because I think guys may clock my neovagina because of this. It feels like the same with when your penis is getting hard on. I've read from some articles that this has something to do with erectile tissue? Do you also exeperience the same? Is this normal? Is there any way to prevent this from happening like a revision or something?

Thanks,
Chinee

Yes, normal. Cis women have this too. Their labia engorge and swell when they are aroused.

Enjoy it.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

It also happens to me, but I think it's normal. Cis females will have their vulva engorged as well when aroused.

"The external genitalia or vulva (including the clitoris, vaginal opening, and inner and outer lips or labia) become engorged (swollen) due to the increased blood supply. Inside the body, the top of the vagina expands."

Blood flow.  Have to keep it or tissue will die.

All natural in a woman.  Maybe ours is a little more being we used to have to fill a large amount of tissue.

Thank you so much ladies! I feel relief now! I am only 6months post op and I never had a close encounter with a cis vagina before. I thought cis vagina are always soft and fluffly even when aroused.

In addition to what everyone else has said, I have been up close and personal with the vulvas of women who were born with them and I can attest that this happens. :) The clit can get erect, the inner labia definitely swell and flush, and in fact NOT having those things happen might be a bigger tipoff that something was odd down there.

Hey hun,

I had the same thing, around my urethra, that part had some erectile tissue left after surgery.
It bothered me too and I told my surgeon and he said that this happens sometimes, because they didnt or couldnt remove all of it during the srs surgery (why I dont remember anymore, maybe because they didnt see it, or because it was too swollen or I dont know).
But he said that  this happens sometimes, and they always do a correction (if you want this), so I did this too after a year post op, but you can do it from 6 months post op. It was only a small surgery of 1 hour and I had no pain and could go home the next day.
And everything was gone :) sometimes my clit and labia still get a little bit swolen when im aroused, but not the part around the urethra, which really was some left over erectile tissue!
Maybe you can talk to your surgeon and discuss the options. For me it was free of cost, because it was a correction of the surgery. (also the surgery was free with the health insurance, but the corrections are part of it)

hope this helps!

Hi,
I had quite a lot left and it bulged and got pretty hard and big so I had a reduction.
It happens. I hope you don“t need to.

When aroused a genetic female's clitoris becomes erect and fills  with blood. the corpus cavernosum or blood reservoir causes this.
she  also gets wet through mucus secretions.
with SRS the corpus cavernosum of the penis is removed so the neo clitoris cannot get erect.
but it does get some blood flow through it.
since there is no mucus lining usually. you need to use lube unless you have some  mucus drip out.
T helps with getting wet also.
I don't think you would get found out by your new anatomy.
don't let that -3 fool you .I state facts not crap.

Ciswomen do indeed get 'erect', so to speak. It's how I know if the missus is actually interested or just humouring me on one of my "hormonal" days.
To strive to reach the apex of evolution is folly, for to achieve the pinnacle is to birth a god.

When the Stryker fires, all turn to dust in its wake.

Hey, all I can say is, my clit gets hard and my labia engorged, and I have some self-lubrication... and I guess people will have to take my word for it, because I'm not posting pics. :) It's mostly the luck of the draw and/or the surgeon, I think.

I seem to have 2 stages of arousal ....

1 clit swells and I can  orgsam and I feel this inside aswell

2 clit swells labia swells a more intense arsoual and I can feel this inside it almost feels like I'm opening up ready for penetration it's very nice sorta like an erection but not then I can orgsam again this seems to be more intense.

I know my ex used to get very puffy and her clit got erect as such.

its normal, and is starting to be part of normal GRS recycled tissues  by top surgeons like Dr Bowers and i think Supporn too. at least with Bowers, she will use the corpus spongosium to construct the full anatomical female clitoral structure that runs underneath everything and is also the source of the G-spot and A-zone. the clit is much more than just a gland at the top of your labia...

Girl same issue here. I hate it. It looks ugly that little triangle sticking up but I've asked my mom, cousin and friends and it's totally normal. Ours might protrude a bit more and it might not look the most appealing. I'm planning on a little retouch maybe adding more lips to hide it?
Got my surgery in my early 20's, now in my mid 20's living stealth

The excess spongy erectile tissue that is left over from a trans woman's surgery is different to the structure of a cisgender/genetic/natal woman's. It bulges out/forward, can feel awkward/painful/annoying during arousal, narrow the entry of the vagina. And yes, guys can tell this, they do not need to be a medical doctor to notice.

The good news is...yes it can be removed with a minor revision.
The bad news is...potentially you can experience loss of some sensation.
