possible disclosure of my mtf friend - should I tell her?

yesterday I came home with a couple of girl friends and one of them is mtf.
my roommates were home. One guy was friendly, but later he said he thought my friends were a girl and a boy.
I cant even imagine how he could get suspected, because she looks really beautiful and has nice female voice.
The other roommate assured him there were 2 beautiful girls. But he replied something like: ehmm..

I'm not sure what to do. should I tell her? I dont want to hurt her feelings by telling that.
I'd try to make them seeing each other not that often, but they will definitely be around.
Not I'm telling he could be rude or offence her, no, he will be friendly. but I'm sure he will make fun of it later.
Being ftm myself I feel offended because of this. Even though my friends are LGBT friendly and we have some gay friends, I see that guy making jokes sometimes. Nobody knows about me, so they speak out everything they want without even thinking.
They are really friendly and nice, but I see that transgender people make them smiling.
I am ok with that, but should I tell my friend about what happened?

I'd say no.  Nothing good will come of it.  If your friend didn't pick up on your roommate's opinion, then leave it be.

That situation just made me feel frustrated.
I started thinking: What if he finally realize who she is and then realize who I am.

No. You should not tell her.

The problem might never arise. The guy might decide he was mistaken, or he might decide it does not matter or he might tell someone else who tells him he is mistaken or to shut up.

So many things could happen that means the problem never arises, so do not cause the problem yourself. If it is going to happen, then let it happen and deal with it then. Show support if it becomes a problem but until then do not turn a potential problem into a real problem.

Well this sounds like a stereotype... and it sounds like he meant her... you could ask or make a hint... that you like her with short hair...
