I just felt like sharing my first two weeks thus far!

So far I've noticed slightly decreased oiliness on my face, and my body doesn't smell as pungent at end of the day. This patch of hair on my lower back also appears to have decreased in thickness. I've also noticed a decrease in morning erections and random erections in general.

Mentally I feel mostly the same but I seem to have less excitement about my transition and now more of a practical sense when I think about it. Not sure if this is because I've started HRT and it's more real now, or my lower T.

On the negative side  I've been suffering some mild anxiety, discomfort in  my chest and slight panic attacks, more so during the first week.  I attribute this to my body adjusting to Spiro as well as my own mind worrying about stuff. I've read a lot of personal accounts of people on HRT before I started, so I had a lot of worse case scenarios racing through my head and I tend to worry about everything.

In addition  today marks the first injection of Estradiol!! I was a bit nervous today leading up to the appointment but I feel much better now that I've finished the injection. I'm excited for the journey ahead!!

Cool. Just remember that Spiro does more than lower T - it is also a diuretic and lowers blood pressure so keep your intake of liquids (especially water) up.

Congratulations !!!

It takes a little while to settle in to a routine and relax. You will get there.

I drink 90 to 100 ounces of water a day measured plus additional. Coffee and tea are diuretic (caffeine) so add water if you drink coffee or tea.

Eat well, avoid alcohol, do not smoke and get your sleep.

Perhaps, the anxiety was also related to the drop in testosterone and lack of E. Hopefully, things will improve with the injection. Congrats and also, not mentioned but equally important, I think, to eat as much salt (AVOID salt substitutes) as you want (i.e. when you crave it) since Spiro depletes sodium, this helps with potential leg cramps. Don't overdo it on potassium and other diuretics like coffee or tea.

Oh yea and if you notice that you don't feel good days before the next injection, perhaps discuss with the doctor and ask if interval between injections can be slightly shortened. As always, keep in touch with your doctor. :)
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

The salty cravings don't seem to stop either, I still eat a bowl of pimento'd olives every day.  Plus salted apple slices, salted tomato juice, salted popcorn.. Oh, Spiro.

It's weird I don't really have the salt cravings.
