Shopping at La Perla for a new bra and the one I really want is 50% off and then.. omg.... the matching panties are also 50% off.. woohoo! that's when the choir of angels sing and lights beam from the heavens on me.

Then it goes into the lingerie bureau with the other stuff to be forgotten for a while and discovered once again at a later time.

Cranking up a 454 after rebuilding it. That'll make me feel just as girly as anything else will...

Jaime you are such a GIRL !

Sitting in Denny's with 7 of our sisters all well past 50, having a late lunch and our young waitress standing behind me braiding my hair. Priceless acceptance  :) She did get a great tip !   Patty

OMG yes!  When this happened I was squeeing like a teenager.  :)  I have very unique eyes so YouTube videos really didn't help me very much for them.  I had to come up with a new technique using eyeliner to make them look right.

Happened for me in three stages... First I managed to get eyeliner on without my eyes burning/watering, and found a nice pencil eyeliner that looked good on me. Then I found a gel eyeliner that worked well and even figured out a quick hack to apply it (smearing it on, filling it in, and smoothing out the top with a makeup wipe). However, I have hooded eyes so it would always smudge a bit after a while and end up in the creases. But now I found a great push-up crayon-like liner that applies easily, and I've learned to apply just under my top lid (without killing my eyes) and get right on the lash-line. Fills it in nicely, is a bit more conservative but still looks great, and gives me more lid to work with. :) Feels good learning all that over time!

And another thing that happened to me recently... Bought a bra and panty set on a whim but didn't expect them both to fit, but they did! ;D
