Hi all! Underwear question: Recently, I've been wearing these super comfy and flattering sweater pants a lot for the winter.  However, because the material is so soft, tucking is an absolute must.  I'm wondering what other girls do for long term tucks.  Acrylic/spandex underwear is tight enough for all-day, and not really that uncomfortable, but it's not at all breathable, and I sweat and by the end of the day feel really gross.  Meanwhile, cotton is cool and breathable and not gross, but night that tight, so my tuck doesn't hold and I'm constantly adjusting and occasionally I look down and I'm untucked and wonder how many people I talked to that way. So, my question is: what brands, materials, styles have people found that balance comfort and functionality? Like, I don't see myself putting tape down there on a daily basis, nor do I have any interest in making a gaff a regular part of my life. Has anyone had success?

I don't have much experience with long-term tucking because right now I'm dressing mostly in secret but I have some Vassarette undershapers that are pretty soft and work really well. They're mostly nylon with spandex. They're also really cheap on Amazon! :)
Hope this helps!

Here even women do not reveal the crotch area, and usually cover with short pants or miniskirt, regardless of the texture.

If you indeed want tight, but comfort and functional pants, I would recommend Danskin Women's Leggings, for example: http://amzn.com/B0000BNGVL

My favorite is the cheap 6 pack Hanes cotton, either bikini or hipsters, in a size smaller than what I should wear.

Yes. I purchase the cheap 6 or 12 pack Hanes cotton briefs for little girls whenever I visit the U.S. They are endurable, cheap and great for the tucking  purpose.

for a little extra security, like when playing sports in shorts, I would cut the panty part out of a pair of control top pantyhose.  I usually had more than one pair with runs in them (does anyone even wear pantyhose now days?)

ok I know this is very late to the party but though I am not yet in a position to socially transition and still present male in public I tuck all day several days a week usually 2-3 days a week, mostly just to get myself used to it and because I feel more comfortable knowing things are out of sight and out of mind.

I have recently found that microfiber bikini work very well not as stretchy as cotton but it breaths well. I find the secret to be wearing two pairs, with one when I move around my skin moves around and things can come undone, but if there are two i find that when I move usually the two layers move against each other rather than me moving inside them. So far very little issues and this includes me working. Its not a very physical job but I do move boxes around a good amount, climb a step ladder and bend over, crouch down and such with some regularity.
What is a Lie when it's at home? Anyone?
Is it the depressed little voice inside? Whispering in my ear? Telling me to give up?
Well I'm not giving up. Not for that part of me that hates myself. That part wants me to wither and die. not for you. Never for you.  --Loki: Agent of Asgard
