no matter how many hours i get, i can't seem to shake off my exhaustion. i mean like work is stressful, i can only see my therapist twice a month right now, i have to study for my licencing so i can actually quit my job. i sleep 12 hours, i end up sleeping for another 6 and i'm still run down. i tell my psychiatrist and he's like "oh its just stress" geez. any ideas where its coming from?

Well you could try a few things...

a bit of exercise to work off stress hormones... like a few situps twice a day... or walking a few minutes...

not eating heavy up to two or three hours before sleep...

having a light snack of cereal before sleep... this might help keeping blood sugar more constant during the night...

trying a cup of warm milk with honey before sleep... this releases transmitter substances in the body which might help with sleep...

putting electrical appliances at least 2m away from the bed... some people are electrosensitive...

and even thinking about moving the bed a bit to another place where you feel it would be more comfortable...

some meds for example against depression might interfere, you might ask...
