I just had my seven-month follow-up after getting my T prescription (yay!  time flies!), and my doctor alerted me to something.

Has anyone heard anything regarding a contamination of T (compounded T. cypionate for injections, to be specific) from Strohecker's pharmacy?  According to my doctor (who treats hundreds of trans patients in the city), it came to light (roughly a week ago) that vials of T were contaminated with high levels of estrogen.  I am searching for information online, but finding nothing.  I am waiting for a call back from the pharmacy at the moment.

Anyone else heard anything?  It just sounds so... weird.

I've never heard of that. I get my prescription from Stroehckers. I would ask your doctor where they got their information from.

if that were true, I'm sure I would have seen the effects by now. Alas, I haven't had and estrogen related effects on my body since my first T injection. No shark weeks, nothing.

It sounds like you would be contacted. But if you're concerned, I'd contact Strohecker's. It's frustrating they don't have something on their site about the recall.

I heard about that on facebook and tumblr, but I don't have any solid references more reliable than strangers on social media.

I actually did hear about this on r/FTM on ->-bleeped-<- about a week and a half ago, from a couple guys contacted by Strohecker about the issue. Part of the email:
QuoteStroheckers Pharmacy would like to inform all our valued customers that we are recalling a batch of Testosterone Cypionate 200mg/ml in Sesame Oil with the Lot# T-1201S14. This batch was dispensed between December 22nd and January 7th.
. Anyother guy said his partner also received the e-mail and that the batch had been contaminated with estradiol. Scary stuff for us guys, no doubt.

No problem! The less people affected by this, the better.

I have always wondered about something like this happening. Thanks for bringing it to light. I was not contacted but did not order any during Dec and Jan.

Msg me if you want to Skype! I'm always down to talk, lend an ear or exchange resources.
