Kurt Cobain trans dream

I had a dream this morning that our beloved Kurt Cobain had come out as trans, was taking HRT, and undergoing FFS and SRS. It made sense. I know we often see our heroes in our own image. Since "trans" came to the surface of my thoughts five years ago, I'd had an inkling. His love and admiration of women, his fondness of dresses, his near-apologetic stance on being male, his openness to gays and lesbians, his strong sense of feminism. I mean, all of these things could just be signs of an awesome person.

Maybe in another time. Maybe if he was around today. We'll never know.

I was never that familiar with him beyond hearing his band's music on the radio, but I remember seeing him wearing dresses a few times. I thought he looked cute in them.

That makes so much sense. Kurt Cobain probably was trans.

To be honest, me and my partner have this discussion very often. Kurt openly stated how uncomfortable it felt to be male, how Kurt thought he was sad he wasn't gay (if we go by the theory that Kurt was trans and attracted to women that makes sense) and that echoes because when I was growing up, I was sad that I wasn't gay.

It also makes me wonder what would've happened now.
