It has been almost 5 months since I had SRS (penile inversion) and I notice that i'm still experiencing pain & discomfort in day to day things to the point where I can't function at university. When I dilate (i'm using one which has a diameter of 1.26 inch and is 5.32 inches long, which I built up to with using a smaller one first) it also hurt, but when it's fully in the pain is less, but still present. I also notice that I still have lots of discharge during the day/night (doesn't look/smell like urine, but at the same time it doesn't look like wound fluid). I clean the area after i dilate.

My surgeon checked me up and saw that I still have wounds inside the neo-vagina and that I have no infection of any kind.

My question is, is there something I can do to help speed up my recovery / ease the pain (i'm still on painkillers, about 1/3 of what I toke right after the surgery), is the vaginal discharge normal and can I do something to reduce it (it's always very wet down there).

you may want to try applying premarin / estrace vaginal cream inside. this softens the area inside and also helps with healing too

A healthy nutrition might help... vegetables, fruit, not much high sugar drinks, instead a good water ...
maybe some of it organic...

a bit of exercise, like some walking...

maybe no smoking...

I have also heard about the wonders of using estrogen cream from older trans women.  :D
