Questions for you crossdressers

I'm curious as to how cross dressers are being treated like in society nowadays, and is it possible to to be accepted within female circles?  It's been more than 15 years since I browsed cross dresser forums regularly.  Is the increased exposure of transsexuals also benefiting  cross dressers in terms of more acceptance?   I've only seen and tracked the Stu Rasmussen story but I haven't really seen any other stories since.

Don't know about anywhere else, but rednecks r still rednecks, and women are still more tolerant as long as you aren't in a relationship  🙂 My real mates know I'm a CD and it isn't an issue for them....but the yobbos around home still feel it's their beholden duty to tell everyone about "that weird ->-bleeped-<-got who lives there"  Meh    🙂

Social acceptance is mostly determined by what he/she does, not by whether he/she is a crossdresser or not.

In my case, people are surprisingly accepting, far more than I initially assumed.

Only my mom and a couple people know I am transgender and they are very supportive and my birth mother is very supportive to the point where she wants me to move to California so I can get the surgery done to change my sex on the tax payers dime because somehow you can get that done there. I am not sure if I will ever have the confidence to get surgery done and make the complete jump from male to female but for now I just dress in the company of myself and thats it so I am not really sure how society or people would respond to me anyway and plus I make a really ugly cross dresser, lol
