Hi everyone.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of doctors in WV that does HRT, SRS, or hair removal. I have a doctor for HRT but would love to find one closer to me instead of three hours away.

Hello from DC!

Not that I know. I'm looking for a good electrotherapist nearby. I wish we had something like E3000 on the east cost!

Where do you currently go for hair removal?? VA?
AA, Laser and Electrolysis since 2011
HRT since 2014
FFS done in 2015

Try getting in touch with hospitals in WV. They first transguy i knew had his procedure done in WV. That was F to M, but he might do M to Fs too. It I were still in touch with the guy who had it done there, i'd have  name. Still, since it was done in a hospital, that would be a good place to start.

Charlotte, I don't have one at the moment that is one of the reasons I was asking kind of want to get a feel for my options around. Unfortunately the doctors in the area do not seem familiar enough with transitions.

Sam, I will do so. I am quite hopeful that the doctor I am going to for my HRT will know someone. It is Roger Toffle in Morgantown if you are familiar with the area.

i know this is pretty late, but a family friend of mine does srs for trans folk! she's located in beckley, wv (around 3 hours away from morgantown) and is also within the community. side note: she was awarded with the 'Resident Achievement Award' which is only given to up to five residents per year.... highly recommend anyone that's looking, to give her a call!

Out of curiosity, can you find out if she has any experience in post operative care for trans men? I am considering moving deeper into VA after my surgery, and I doubt many of the urologists where I'm looking to live will have seen anything like what I've got :D

she's had several trans patients, so i'm sure she could! however, i'm not 100%.. i think the best option would be to call, as she does not like to talk much about it in messages.
