I live in the wonderful rural area of miegs county Ohio, which means there is little to no trans resources here. I live around 30 miles from Athens where I go to counseling every week. My primary care doctor referred me to a pediatric endocrinologist a few months ago and he canceled the appointment because he doesn't treat transgender kids. So now my doc has referred me to ANOTHER endo and a team of psychologists in Columbus, which is a 2 hour drive from here . the problem is that my grandma's partner has leukemia and has to go get chemo at the OSU hospital for a week out of the month, so that has totally screwed up our system. She says that we need to take care of my other health issues first (glasses, braces, meds) but I'm so impatient and I just want to finally start being the guy that I'm supposed to be. Is there a way I can convince her to help me out sooner? Or am I just completely screwed?
Not another queer kid. :eusa_shhh:
