Good afternoon guys and dolls.

What's your all time favorite movie?
One only - your favorite of your favorites. Two only if you can't possibly choose.

And why?

To be honest it is hard for me to pick just one movie.. so I have picked two..

1  The shawshank Redemption & 2 White Chicks

Oh that's SO hard...

I guess The Shawshank Redemption if I HAD to pick just one.

But I gotta sneak The Matrix and V For Vendetta in there too, as all three illustrate the same theme for me... of Transition.

I take it White Chicks is good? Wonder if it's come out at the library yet. I usually wait until things come out at the library, instead of the cinema or Blockbuster.

Blade Runner is one because the music is simply one of the best. Also, I love space and the future. I can watch this movie anytime.

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly is my other favorite. Again, the music is amazing, but also because the movie is nice and slow with great periods of action. Tuco, the ugly, is one of the best characters of all time. He is very real and I feel a kinship to him. I can go for hours talking about TGBU, but let's just say that I have it running a lot.

There are no other two movies that I can watch over and over.

Gotta go against the grain. No spanking me for it, Nero.

Say Anything
American Psycho
Art School Confidential
The Ringer
Cabin Fever
Rules of Attraction
Vanilla Sky
Anchorman
Pretty Persuasion
Saved
Natural Born Killers
Waking Life
Being John Malkovich
Jackass: the Movie
Fight Club
A Clockwork Orange

Mm hmm. Now I never have to answer a movie thread. Never ever again.

I guess if I have to choose between Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, The Day The Earth Stood Still and The Quiet Man, I'll choose latter.

Beautiful Boxer the movie is based of my Idol who i wish to meet some day. Full of Hard kicks, Drama, Comedy, Romance. Tong is my hero and the movie portrays her personal side real well. Ok nit is not exactly right on to her real life. But it is still fun. My second one is hmmmm... i guess Batman

Harold and Maude

Funny, quirky, relationship development, well crafted, forbidden love, character development, I can watch it over and over and find new things to appreciate each time.

I have to pick two...  Both equaly...  I consider these to be the two greatest movies of all time...  And most of my friends <and even my messed up family> concours hehe.

The Princess Bride...  Comeon people... show me a movie with better story telling, romance, action, comedy...  Really it hits allmost all points...  True love conquers all  :)

The Boondock Saints....    When good irish go bad..  or did they?  Yeah, there nuts for becomeing the vengeful hand of god... But comeon... everyone has though of doing it...  Wipe out the filth of the earth... The Mobsters and Mafiosos, Murders, rapists and so on... no judge, no jurry. They will send you to any god you choose  ;)  And shepards we shal be, for thee my lord for thee. Power decended forth from thy hand, so swiftly shal we cary out thy comand. And we shal flow a river forth unto thee, and teeming with souls shal it ever be. *latin ending prayr that I cant spell*
Its violent, funny, and has more swearing than most can stand... Its freaking awsome  XD

hard to choose... but i guess I'd have to go with City Lights, in my opinion the best Chaplin film ever.  The movie has everything.

1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - love it!  It's quirky, romantic, funny, actually makes sense after a few viewings and it's a good movie to discuss.  I own it and still watch it many times.

2. Dumb and Dumber - absolutely hilarious, love it, love it, love it!  ;D  I own it as well and have watched it about 50 times!
  •

Pica Pica

1. Harvey

2. Room to Rent  - It's about this writer who keeps getting kicked out of flats because he finds himself writing strange filmscripts based on what is happening around him. He nearly marries a Marlyn Monroe impersonator for visa reasons and then of course ends up marrying a blind octogenrian who believes that he is the reincarnation of her boyfriend. What makes it great instead of just funny is that he falls in love back.

Four Weddings and a Funeral

Another movie about transitions in life...

I have not heard any one mention this movie. But it was pretty cute "To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar" It is a movie about three lost drag queens (sorry if that is not the proper term.) What made it so good is it did not confuse transexuals with Drag queens. They have a scean where they even state the differences of each. And call me crazy but a movie that has Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze, and John Leguizamo all dressed up is awsome. + Leguizamo is soooo cute dressed up. Also The Matrix was awsome. I <3 Trinity.
