Matthew Shepard’s Mother to Appear at Fund-Raiser - An Interview with Judy Shep

Judy Shepard will be in Kansas City on Sept. 6 to speak at a 6 p.m. private reception at the Rockhill Tennis Club and help raise funds for the Kansas City Anti-Violence Project (www.kcavp.org) and the Matthew Shepard Foundation (www.matthewshepard.org). A donation of $100 or more ($25 for UMKC students) is required to attend the reception. RSVP by Sept. 1 to Kirk Isenhour: kisenhour@kc.rr.com. At 7:30 p.m., the evening with Shepard will continue at a town hall meeting, free and open to the public, at Grant Hall on the UMKC campus.
