Anyone ever go riding on the back of a Harley while wearing a wig ???

I get a lot of men interested in my online dating profile who want me to go riding with them... It SUCKS having to turn these HOT guys down because I unfortunately have to wear a wig   I just cant see how it would be possible to do this without being very nervous and uncomfortable about it staying on at 80 mph much less totally destroying my expensive "hair"  

Anyone here ever tried this and if so any advice and how did it go???

Ive considered just telling these guys my fears and concerns because they do know my trans status but its just too embarrassing without me even knowing them in person first at least so I just turn down WAY too many guys that could have potential

I have ridden on the back of a motorcycle.  I have worn a wig.  Not both at the same time.  The bike was a KZ900 which back in the day was quicker than any Harley.  I was given a round trip to 100 MPH and back in less than half a mile.  It was hard enough for my jacket to stay on.

If you have a good enough helmet it should keep the wig on.  This is something you will have to disclose.  A wig is too expensive to waste.

It just sucks... Im in the Black Hills area near Sturgis SD, Id say at least 1/2 of the responses I get online are sexy biker dudes they are everywhere when its nice out here.... I gotta say I even like the idea of riding with a guy I could trust, it seems like it would be a lot of fun... WTF Im pre op so Im OK with disclosing the trans thing right in my profile but its just too embarrassing to bring this up for me to a guy Ive never even met Hell its bad enough having to worry about it in bed but at least by then Ive got to know them enough to get there and I can deal with it...

Many of them don't wear helmets from what I see but some do... I could see maybe tying it in back and wearing a scarve or bandana tied tight on top to keep it on and using some good wig tape...

Yea a helmet would work too I guess to keep it on at least but there is still the issue of keeping it in place just getting the damn thing on and off and not destroying it either way... Ive spent a lot of time trying to imagine a solution and I just can see it

As someone who has worked in the neuro ICU at a level 1 trauma hospital, I've seen the tragic results of what could happen to riders who choose not to wear a helmet.

My "Biker bitch" look LOL    Hope I can keep my hair on going 80 mph on the back of a Harley :!:  Going riding tomorrow around the Black Hills SD if he don't flake on me Something tells me he wont though after the nice phone conversation we had this morning  He says he's got a helmet and a leather jacket for me to wear...

Eva, have you investigated bonded/integrated hair systems? They are more than wigs. Depending on type, style, and bonding agent, either you or your hairdresser will apply them and you just wear them continually for two to six weeks. Once attached you can go swimming, biking, shower in it, sleep in it, have sex in it, whatever. It will take something fairly violent to usually remove a bonded hair system.

Im the one on the front of the harley. A good helmet can go a long way. As will any wig thats ponytail styled. Theres a few companies that make a ponytail holder thats several inches wide as well.

Youre not a wimp. I wear full faces too. I flew off my honda 3 yrs ago wearing jeans and a vest. I had road rash on both my forearms and my right palm. I had several lacerations where the bone was exposed. And that fullface? It had a new stripe down the center. If i didnt have it, id be a lot less pretty than i am today.

I do too.  And it helps keep the wig from blowing all to hell.  Makeup stays pretty nice too.

I ride my bike most days...even in Seattle.


And Eva, you never updated on your ride with the guy.  How did it go?

Shouldn't be a problem with a good helmet.You look really good with the bandana.I never got the hang of tying them.
