Does anybody grok this (crochet tutorial) ?

So, I really want to make this, but I am a total noob at crochet, and I don't know what these abbreviations mean: Google is about as worthy as asking a can of vegetable soup what letters mean.

This is a very cute hat, and I kind of need it for my Twi'lek obsession =P

If I see the abreviations, I can tell you what they mean most times. I crochet sometimes.

DC is double crochet.

sc is single crochet.

Thank you for that link. I ended up buying an H needle and yarn from the dollar store. The needle is good quality, but the yarn was too thin so it was really difficult trying to figure out the "double crochet" when the yarn makes such teeny tiny loops. Going this weekend to get legit Red Heart yarn. ^__^

I know this is an old thread.  But I am new here.  In fact, this is my first post.
